2010 FALL GOURMET TRIP TO ITALY
Join Brad and Tom for a culinary journey through Italy's historic cities and spectacular country sides. Explore and discover beautiful markets, restaurants featuring local foods, wine and cheese tastings, home-cooked meals in Italian friends homes and hands-on cooking classes. With more than a decade of yearly culinary travels and research in Italy, look to us to guide you on a one of a kind journey throughout Italy, our home away from home.
Fall 2008 our group spent a week at a villa in Tuscany, touring Florence, San Gimingnano, Siena and various other small town were we enjoyed wine tastings, a cheese farm, & an organic farm in Chianti that holds cooking classes. and produces their own olive oil and aged balsamic. We also traveled by train for a day trip to Bologna to explore its markets and shops and enjoyed some of Italy's best pastas. We finished our tour of Italy in Rome visiting all of the historic sites, lunched in the Jewish ghetto, & a farewell dinner in a gracious Italian home. Several cooking classes were included and lunches & dinners included typical regional foods and wines.
Fall of 2009 we organized a group tour of Umbria, Tuscany and Rome.
